Akosua is the founder of the NiNa Young Women’s Leadership Programme, a transformative initiative that provides young women in state care and at-risk communities with:
- Financial literacy
- Entrepreneurial training
- Self-value and personal empowerment tools
Through NiNa, Akosua empowers young women across Trinidad and Tobago to develop the confidence, knowledge, and skills needed to live independent and impactful lives. The program also includes a vital transition support system for those exiting state care at 18, helping them reintegrate into society and thrive. Additionally, NiNa has been successfully implemented in secondary schools nationwide.
At the heart of Akosua’s work is her commitment to unconditional self-love, living in personal power, and creating economic opportunity for women and girls. She combines business mentorship with emotional empowerment to inspire women to build lives filled with purpose and possibility.
Akosua is also the author of four published books, including her latest release,
“Now What? The Flipside” (March 2021), which challenges readers to embrace change, personal growth, and resilience.
