Since being diagnosed with multiple myeloma in March 2019, Ray has become a cancer advocate, sharing his journey and inspiring others with resilience and optimism. Alongside his writing, Ray expresses his creativity through music, performing and recording with his acoustic band, The Chronic Padres.
A Texas native, Ray holds an undergraduate degree from Eastern Kentucky University and an MBA from the University of Washington.
