Christina Martini-

Christina Martini is a partner with DLA Piper. She is Chair of the Chicago Intellectual Property Practice Group and serves as the firm’s National Hiring Partner- Associate Recruiting. She is also a member of the firm’s Executive and Policy Committees. Tina focuses her practice on domestic and international trademark and copyright law, as well as domain name, Internet, advertising, unfair competition and entertainment law. She has extensive experience in counseling, prosecution, enforcement, due diligence and licensing matters, and in assisting clients in protecting their intellectual property rights through litigation and other means.

From 2011 through 2018, Tina has been named in World Trademark Review 1000, a guide to the world’s leading trademark practitioners. She was named to the 2010 BTI Client Service All-Star Team for Law Firms.

For many years, based on peer and client reviews, Tina has received numerous professional accolades, including being selected as one of America’s leading intellectual property lawyers by Chambers & Partners, a respected English research firm. She has been rated AV Preeminent by Martindale-Hubbell and has been designated an Illinois Super Lawyer.

In 2017, Tina was named to the Crain’s Chicago Business inaugural list of Chicago’s Most Influential Minority Lawyers. This same year she was also the recipient of the prestigious Anti-Defamation League “Women of Achievement” Award. In 2013, Law Bulletin Publishing Company named her one of only seventeen “Women in Law: Women Making an Impact” and one of “40 Illinois Attorneys under Forty to Watch” in 2010.

Tina is a multimedia journalist, legal commentator and radio host. She is the host of “Paradigm Shift with Christina Martini” which is being featured on C-Suite Radio, and is the co-host of WGN Radio’s popular show “Legal Face-Off.” For many years, Chicago Lawyer has featured her column, “Inside Out,” which compares private practice and in-house counsel perspectives.
