James Higgins-

James Higgins is a Web Developer and, as of August 2019, a food service equipment repair technician and manager of Commtech Services on the Sunshine Coast in British Columbia, Canada. James moved here with his wife and dog to take over his father’s company as his father had become the fire department chief in the nearby town of Roberts Creek.
 
James founded the non-profit organization Selfling Teen Support Foundation to help discover new ways to use technology to help at risk youth. Selfling even had a mobile application for 2 years after which James decided that the mobile chat app format was not the right direction for the kind of change James wanted to see in the lives of young people. Selfling is now undergoing a direction shift.
 
In 2019, James underwent addictions therapy to combat his alcoholism and, as of February 4, 2020, will be 1 year sober. This struggle has help James take charge of his mental and physical health, topics he is very open about.
 
James, Shauna, and Odin the Dog live in a tiny home in Gibsons, BC.
