Digital marketing professional and community builder, Chris Barrows, with over 9 years of experience in social media, web and mobile marketing. He has used his experiences across a diverse collection of industries including higher education, podcasting, and small businesses. He has often found himself in the role of “architect” behind digital strategies including the launching of a full social strategy for New York University in 2013.
Chris brings an entrepreneurial spirit to every job he does having experience as a business owner (Christopher Mac Productions) and through the monetization of his podcast, Why I Social. In addition, he has management experience (in particular, serving as the chairperson of the eduWeb Digital Summit and its 10+ person team) and has a strong background in training (with a Masters in Instructional Technology from the Discovery Education Program).
