The Goal

1001 #12minconvos in 12 weeks starting from January 12th to April 2019 , with AMAZING people from all over the world.

 Day 19 thoughts?

Time is a major part of my life. I learned an appreciation for it over the last decade through work. My primary work requires me to be on the second, in monitoring quality. Thankfully, years of repitition in minute increments (pun intended) has resulted in growth in other areas of my life. How do you view time?

Anyways, my morning started at 5:00am. It is Wednesday 30th  January, 2019. It's probably exhaustion from the night before when I looked at my calendar but I thought my first #12minconvo was scheduled for 5:00am. He was actually booked for 5:15am. I waited, then at 5:15am made the call. Unfortunately he didn't show up.

Who did you connect with on the evening?

1) Emem Washington, Author | Speaker | Coach located in Houston, Texas. She recently authored "Rise From The Shadows: Overcome Your Past, Reclaim Your Voice and Live Your Light. She's consistently been helping those who need hope. Hope to do the thing they know they were born to do. More to come on her #12minconvos podcast #2094Sneek Peek - Her favourite song at 12 can be listened to here.

2) Julie Leduc, Certified Finacial Coach | Mortgage Broker located just outside Ottawa in Ontario, Canada. Julie helps people find solutions to finding financial wellness. I met Julie in Tennesse between November 3rd-9th 2013 for Entreleadership Master Series. Again the power of a conversation to connect, lives on. More to come on her #12minconvos podcast #2095Sneek Peek - Her favourite song at 12 can be listened to here.

3) Adam Hartung, Effective Independent Board Member and Advisor, Forbes Leadership Columnist, Public Speaker on Strategy and Leadership. Adam is located in Las Vegas, Nevada. Adam shared in our conversation two very valid points on growth being a limitless opportunity and not spending too much time looking at the past. More to come on his #12minconvos podcast #2096

What was your biggest takeaway?

Connection!

As valuable as tech is for supporting so much of what I do, it still cannot significantly replace the value of a real life connection.
