Mindy Barker

Mindy Barker is CEO of Barker Associates, financial strategist, author and a frequent guest speaker to up-and-coming entrepreneurs, experienced CEOs and CFOs, and nonprofit leaders.

As a financial strategist, Mindy works with her clients to develop positive cash flow and increase company value. Together they uncover areas to drive out waste in financial reporting, replacing it with dashboards to alert management to key organizational metrics to guide critical decisions. Mindy also coaches the C-level suite of entrepreneurial growth and private equity backed companies on execution that moves the company to the next level. She has helped many investors package portfolio investments for sale to facilitate the most efficient exit. Mindy’s diverse experience adds depth to the due diligence process on the sell or buy side.

In 2018 Mindy published her first bookPitching to Win: Strategies for Success, to help entrepreneurs and established business leaders alike understand the process of raising capital. She is working on her second book, currently untitled, to be released in 2019.

Mindy is the 2016 The Small Business Leader of the Year for the Jacksonville Chamber – Health Council, and was recently recognized as an honoree for Partners in Philanthropy for the Jacksonville Business Journal and United Way. Mindy is a member of the American Institute of CPA’s, the Association of Corporate Growth, the Jacksonville Chamber, Women Business Owners, Vistage Speakers Bureau and the Jacksonville Women’s Network.
