She is the founder of “Platform Purpose” a membership club that helps authors and entrepreneurs leverage smart marketing to build their influence.
Huffington Post nominated her as one of “50 Women Entrepreneurs to Follow in 2017”.
As an Author Mimika has published four books. Two Best Selling Christian Living books: “Worrier to Warrior: A Mother’s Journey from Fear to Faith” and “Mindset Make-Over: How to Renew your Mind and Walk in God’s Authority”. Mindset Make-Over has remained within the top 5 Best Sellers list on Amazon in the “Womens Christian Living” and “Personal Growth & Christianity” categories since its publication in July 2018.
Mimika has also written two traditionally published books in the photography genre.
Her next book “Build a Platform with a Purpose: Marketing with Meaning for Messages with Heart” is due out in the fall of 2019.
Mimika is passionate about empowering and equipping believers to fulfill their God-given purpose, share their message, and impact the marketplace so that they can make a difference in the world.
After experiencing severe rejection, bullying and a broken childhood; Mimika spent years accolades addicted to approval in the pursuit of finding her worth, validation and confidence chasing achievements. Then God stepped in to heal her hurts, change her heart and awaken a passion for helping others seeking their purpose in life. She is passionate about empowering and equipping others to fulfill their God given purpose by sharing the message of God’s grace with a world lost in negativity.
Mimika loves to spark honest conversations, blaze a trail where others fear to tread and infuse positivity wherever she goes. She is known for building community, creating connections and helping others tell their story with passion and purpose.
When she is not being a busy mom of three, in her spare time Mimika will be found perfecting her spins on the ice training to compete in the adult figure skating circuit. Mimika won a Gold Medal in the State Games of North Carolina in March 2019 and is currently training to compete in the Adult Championships in 2020.
