Jon Stamell is the founder and CEO of Oomiji, bringing over 35 years of expertise in market research, customer engagement, strategic planning, brand management, marketing, image development, e-commerce, and multimedia communications. …Oomiji focuses on the aspirational luxury market, where Millennials and Gen Z are rapidly replacing Baby Boomers as the dominant consumer base. With a strong foundation in international marketing, Jon previously served as CEO of a global advertising and public relations firm.
Jon has advised governments—including those of Chile, Greece, Norway, South Africa, Spain, and Vietnam—on national image campaigns. He has also consulted with trade associations and major brands in France, Costa Rica, Romania, and the U.S., especially within the luxury goods, consumer products, wine and spirits, tourism, food and beverage, and technology sectors.
He holds a B.A. from the University of Michigan, completed graduate work at Harvard University’s Yenching Institute, and earned an M.B.A. from the University of Maine. Jon has served on the Leadership Council of the National Small Business Association and the Small Business Technology Council.
When he’s not innovating customer engagement strategies, Jon enjoys skiing, sailing, and hiking. He splits his time between New York and Maine.
