  • 1242:Sid Bharath lives and breathes SAAS Marketing

Sid Bharath-

Grab a cup of coffee, and sit by the fire, for I have a story to tell you.

This story is going to sound familiar, so I’ll skim through it. I used to work a well-paid, corporate job as a management consultant. I realized it wasn’t what I wanted to do, despite making some amazing friends at the company. So I quit and left Canada to explore the world and figure the whole life thing out.

Pretty standard so far, right? At this point, you probably expect that I went to Thailand and then wrote a blog about starting a lifestyle business with pictures of myself living on some beach. Well, that’s not quite what happened. Oh, there are beaches involved, but not until much later.

My first stop was Chile. Their government had started a program called Startup Chile, where they invited entrepreneurs to move there to start a business with $40,000 in funding. My idea was picked amongst thousands of others.

I partnered with select tour operators across Chile and launched a site that listed their tours. I marketed the site to travelers, allowed them to book tours on the site, and then took a cut off the top while letting the tour operators handle the execution.

Unfortunately, the margins were quite low. So, to augment my income, I started freelancing as a marketer. Fast forward to today, and I’ve worked with dozens of startups and SAAS companies. Most recently, I helped grow Thinkific from zero to a multi-million dollar company and the most popular online course platform in less than two years.

I live and breathe SAAS marketing. My in-depth industry expertise and experience across companies means I can help you identify the fastest way to grow and implement the right strategies.
