Natural health alternatives.Peggy Weekes, author of the upcoming book ‘A Mix of Two Worlds: Nature’s Best from the East and the West for Optimum Health’, together with The Rosewood Church of the Nazarene recently concluded a successful Health and Wellness event last January 14, 2017, which aims to help people reach their health goals.
A Mix of Two Worlds encourages us to go back to basics, to the place where it all began; to use nature as it was intended, as well as other natural means to improve our health. This book is about you taking care of you. It’s about prevention rather than cures. It’s about keeping Voltaire’s wise words in mind: “Doctors pour drugs of which they know little, to cure diseases of which they know less, into human beings of whom they know nothing.” It’s about breaking the vicious cycle we now find ourselves in, combatting sickness with medicine that triggers other issues that require additional medicine and in some cases, creating life-long dependencies.
In A Mix of Two Worlds, we will explore various natural health alternatives with Eastern and Western origins. These alternatives have proven to be very effective not only in my life, but to countless others who have used them during various stages of their quest to achieve and maintain optimum health.
