Naomi Mellor is a veterinarian by trade, specializing in the care of horses competing at the top of their game – a little like being the equine equivalent of Usain Bolt’s doctor!

 

She had wanted to be a vet for almost her entire life and walked an incredibly focused path during her teenage years and early 20’s to make that happen. Having never considered any other career, this year Naomi launched Smashing The Ceiling, a podcast where she meets women with cool and unusual jobs, discusses their career paths, how they’ve got where they are now, the mistakes they’ve made, and the mentors that have helped them along the way.
