  • Michael Huber: On How to Help Young Athletes Build Confidence and Resilience /Ep 4060

About Michael Huber

My mission is to help young athletes become confident problem solvers through mental performance coaching. I discovered this mission in my early 40s as a father to two children. I wanted youth sports to look different...

…Growth and enjoyment should be prioritized over winning and achievement. However, I learned that I couldn’t change the world from the “outside-in,” so I decided to serve young athletes and their families from the “inside-out” by helping them develop the mental and emotional skills to thrive in their environment. I returned to school for a master’s degree in Sport Psychology and pursued a new career that would allow me to carry out my mission. Here I am, almost eight years later.
