Mary Kelly-

Mary Kelly, PhD is an international author and speaker in the fields of leadership, productivity, communication and business to improve profit growth.

 

One of the first women to graduate from the U.S. Naval Academy, Mary trained over 40,000 military and civilian personnel in multi-cultural environments around the world during her 21 years on active duty as a commissioned officer in the Navy.  Commander Kelly’s Navy experience included serving as an Intelligence Officer, a Human Resources Director, an Assistant Chief of Staff for Pearl Harbor, a Professor, and as a Chief of Police.

 

Dr. Kelly has authored 11 books.  Her 2016 book, Why Leaders Fail and the 7 Prescriptions for Success won a bronze book award for leadership excellence. Her other books include award-winning and best-selling Master Your World, 15 Ways to Grow Your Business in any Economy, Money Smart: How Not to Buy Cat Food When You Don’t Have a Cat, 360 Degrees of Leadership, Stop the Barking, and In Case of Emergency Break Glass, She is also published in 100’s of magazines, newspapers and journals worldwide. In September 2016 Dr. Kelly was featured in Forbes, Investopedia, and Success Magazine.

 

Dr. Kelly’s experience in leadership theory and her strategic planning tactics help organizations improve profit growth, increase productivity, decrease turnover, and develop loyal follows and leaders.

Dr. Kelly works within a variety of industries including financial institutions, insurance companies, real estate organizations, medical and dental practice management, and the military industrial complex. Through speaking, executive coaching and organizational facilitation, she creates leaders who build teams and lead more effectively.

 

Mary’s sense of humor, combined with her stage presence, gives audiences information and executable actions that they enjoy implementing.

 

Mary is active on several community and national boards and locally, she and her therapy dogs make regular visits to schools and retirement communities.
