Marie MacMillan: A native of the Pacific Northwest, she describes herself as a modern woman with a flair for story-telling, beer-drinking, and shenanigan-seeking. Her inspirations include but are certainly not limited to: the great outdoors, the history and future of healthcare, contemporary romantic endeavors, general debauchery, and the human condition. When she’s not writing prose or working on non-fiction projects she hosts a healthcare-themed podcast entitled Head-to-Toe. She works as a registered nurse and lives in Portland, Oregon.
