Dr. Lauren Noel is a board-certified Naturopathic Doctor and the founder of Shine Natural Medicine, where she helps patients achieve optimal wellness through a personalized, root-cause approach to health. Dr. Noel earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from Biola University in La Mirada, California. While completing her undergraduate studies, she worked in an acupuncture clinic, where she discovered her passion for natural and integrative medicine. Her commitment to “food as medicine” led her to pursue her Doctorate in Naturopathic Medicine at the renowned National College of Natural Medicine (NCNM) in Portland, Oregon (now known as National University of Natural Medicine).
During her clinical training, Dr. Noel served at Outside In, a community health clinic focused on at-risk youth and homeless teens, gaining valuable experience in complex chronic conditions, mental health support, and preventive care. Her leadership and clinical excellence were recognized when she was selected for the Presidential Ambassadors Leadership Society (PALS) and nominated for both the Leadership Award and the prestigious Benedict Lust Award.
She also completed a one-year internship in integrative cardiovascular and pulmonary medicine under the mentorship of renowned naturopathic cardiologist, Dr. Martin Milner, ND.
Dr. Noel believes true healing happens when the underlying causes of illness are identified and addressed, not just symptoms. Her individualized treatment plans integrate a variety of naturopathic and functional medicine therapies, including:
