I describe myself as a conceptual artist and deep ecologist presently focused on edible landscaping. I have been teaching, designing and implementing permaculture ethics and principles around the Caribbean with the goal of inspiring self sufficient communities and sustainable human cultures. Doing ecological regeneration: planting trees, digging ponds and contour drains and constructing check dams. Refining my systems at home: rainwater collection and filtration, grey water recycling, encouraging wild edible plants, planting provisions, minding chickens, fish and conchs.
I am also a performance artist playing a traditional carnival character, the Midnight Robber with a small band of robbers called the Mystery Raiders for whom I am the designer/maker. My characters are social critics who espouse ecological sanity.
