About Jessica Morris

Jessica L. Morris is a Christian writer, poet, and spiritual director who spent over 30 years in higher education advancement before answering God’s call to full-time ministry through writing. She shares her journey of faith, recovery, and healing to inspire others seeking spiritual growth, emotional wholeness,...

and a deeper relationship with Jesus Christ.

A Journey of Recovery and Faith

For the past 25 years, Jessica has walked the transformative path of recovery from family alcoholism and personal struggles with food and alcohol addiction. Through that healing journey, she encountered the life-changing love of Jesus, who now fills every corner of her soul with purpose and peace.

Ministry Through Writing and Spiritual Direction

Jessica holds a Master’s in Theological Studies and a Certificate in Spiritual Direction from Moravian Theological Seminary in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania. Since graduating, she has nurtured a small but growing spiritual direction practice and shares her reflections through a heartfelt Christian blog on her website.

In the fall of 2024, Jessica took a bold leap of faith, leaving behind her career in fundraising to pursue her calling as a full-time writer. Her mission is to serve God by helping others find hope, healing, and spiritual renewal through the written word.
