  • Heather Dahl: Owning Your Digital Identity: A Pioneer’s Journey in Data Privacy /Ep 3488

About Heather Dahl

A passionate advocate for cybersecurity and self-sovereign identity, my journey began nearly a decade ago while researching digital privacy, blockchain, distributed ledger technologies, and threat intelligence solutions...

…Today, I serve as CEO of Indicio.tech, where we empower enterprises, nonprofits, and governments to build secure, interoperable digital identity solutions that reshape the online world. Our mission is to help organizations create trusted, privacy-first identity systems that users and customers value.

Previously, as Executive Director/CEO of the Sovrin Foundation, I championed self-sovereign identity—a portable, lifetime digital identity for individuals, organizations, and connected devices.

With experience spanning startups, enterprises, and nonprofits, I’ve led brand transformations, secured funding, and built high-impact teams whose stories gained national recognition.

Leveraging a global network of industry leaders, I bring deep expertise from my work in Washington, D.C., including analyst relations, cybersecurity strategy, and journalism at Neustar, a Big Four consulting firm, Fox News, PBS NewsHour, NPR, and Public Radio International.
