I live with bipolar disorder and severe anxiety and have since I was a young adult. I was once a successful businessman. However, I lost it all due to the challenges of living with mental illness...
After 14 long and difficult years, I signed up for a stand-up comedy class designed for individuals with mental illness. That decision changed everything. I shifted from being controlled by my mental health to finding humor in my experiences. That was the beginning of my recovery.
Today, I not only perform stand-up comedy but also teach it to others who live with mental illness. We tell our stories, one joke at a time. Through laughter, we break the silence, connect with others, and shatter the stigma surrounding mental health.
My comedy has been described as smart, inspirational, and laugh-out-loud funny.
