Casey Bernard-

Casey Bernard is co-host and producer of the VeryPink Knits podcast. Casey is in transition from working as a marketing research consultant to building a podcast consultancy.

Her work in marketing research is focused on talking to people through qualitative research including focus groups. She holds a masters of marketing research and has worked in the field since 2003, but she has often considered going back to her first love, writing and storytelling.

In 2015 when Staci Perry asked if she’d like to create a podcast for her YouTube channel on knitting, Casey was excited to explore this platform which she enjoyed since the first time she used her podcast app on her iPhone. The VeryPink Knits weekly podcast is up to episode 70 and has an international audience of knitters who listen in for knitting Q&A and interviews with experts often outside the knitting world, but somehow relate to knitting.

Casey is honing her podcast production skills through the Podcast Engineering School and plans to make 2018 the year she transitions to a podcast consultant, focusing on female entrepreneurs.

Casey lives in Austin, Texas with her family of 4. They take every opportunity to travel to see the world.
