Tara Marulli-

Tara Marulli: We all have our challenges and struggles to overcome. Sometimes it takes us hitting rock bottom to find our hidden gem. Over the past couple of years, my life has completely turned upside down after getting hurt on the job. Due to my lifelong injuries, my teaching career would never be the same again. Looking back, I now see why things happened the way they did. Even though I loved teaching, and I absolutely adored my students, I had this overwhelming feeling that there was something else I needed to be doing…something much bigger. But like most of us, we continue to stay in the same place because it feels safe and comfortable.

At first, besides being in constant pain, I started feeling sorry for myself…it was so unbelievably frustrating. If it weren’t for the continued love and support from God and the Angels, my friends and family, and my puppy, I’d be in a much worse off situation. One day, I decided enough is enough, I wasn’t going to fall victim to my unfortunate circumstances, and instead I went searching for answers within, and found my life purpose…my truth.

This led me on my own personal transformational journey…I did a lot of soul searching and work on my mind, body, and soul. My true mission originated from my wounds of low self-esteem and body image issues that I endured growing up. And what I realized was that mostly all of my struggles stemmed from putting everyone else before me, and not loving myself first. Coming to that realization was a tremendous Aha moment for me, and ever since then, I’ve been empowering not only myself, but others, as well.

That’s when I decided to sign up for Get Gutsy Coach Training School; I gained a lot of clarity into who I am here to serve, and connected with a group of unbelievable women. I’ve learned to take my past hurts and disappointments and turn them into something positive. My vision is to help as many women as possible learn to love and embrace themselves just as they are. We need to no longer believe what we see in the media as perfection and understand that we are all imperfectly perfect in our own way.

As The Spiritual Self-Love Coach, I intuitively guide women towards getting to the root of their blocks, breaking those blocks down, and then build them back up. I help inspire, motivate, and empower women who have been struggling with low self-esteem and body image issues. Part of my mission involved teaming up with The Body Image Movement, and becoming a Body Image Movement Global Ambassador. With that, I volunteered to host a screening of the film EMBRACE the documentary to my local movie theater at Regal Ronkonkoma on November 3 at 7 pm. Screenings of this documentary are happening all across the United Sates – encouraging women locally and globally to embrace and love their bodies…absolutely phenomenal. The screening will only take place if we get 60 people to reserve their tickets ahead of time. Bring your best gals, and make it a girl’s night out! It’s unlike any other movie you will ever experience.
