Rich Boberg-

Rich Boberg is the President and Founder of H2HR Consulting Group, a provider of strategic HR services for small, start-up, and early stage organizations.  Rich has more than 13 years of business experience successfully managing the operations of a major full-line department store and over 11 years as an innovative HR practitioner and consultant.

Rich’s career began in retail with Macy’s where he twice earned the company’s most prestigious award,  Store Manager/ Store of the Year honors in addition to earning a record number of performance awards during his tenure.  His next adventure was joining Ur-Energy, a start-up uranium mining company, where he built a state-of-the-art HR infrastructure from the ground up as the company grew from a start-up to a fully operating mining company.  From there, he joined SurveyGizmo, an early-stage software company, where he successfully developed and implemented the full suite of HR polices and programs that successfully aligned with the company’s aggressive 3 year 100%  growth plan.

In addition to Rich’s strong background in management and as an HR practitioner, he discovered his passion for providing HR consulting services through his work with the Employers Council  in Denver and decided to launch his own HR consulting firm!

Rich earned a BSc degree in Business Management from Montana State University and holds the Society of Human Resources Management–Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP), Senior Professional Human Resources (SPHR), and the Professional Human Resources California (PHRca) certifications.  He is a member of the Society of Human Resources Management (SHRM National) and Mile High SHRM (Denver Chapter) where he served as the Director of Marketing in 2014. Rich also regularly writes and podcasts on HR topics for the Hard Hat HR blog and podcast.
