Nick Jarin is a professional nerd. He is a podcast producer/host and a web developer. He uses his platforms to support inclusivity. A driving tenant of his NW NERD Podcast is that “nerd” is an inclusive term. The hosts don’t police who gets to identify as one. In his coding work, Nick uses his skills to work on projects that contribute to the community, such as a search engine for cancer patients to find clinical trials for which they are eligible to join.
