Michael Kass is a Los Angeles based facilitator, coach, and award-winning storyteller. His work focuses on harnessing the power of story to facilitate personal, organizational, and communal change. Michael's trainings on storytelling, speaking, and mindfulness have been featured at events hosted by the Center for Nonprofit Management, NationBuilder, Association of Fundraising Professionals, Kaiser Permanente, CreatorUp!, Swipe Out Hunger, Bucknell University, the Jewish Federation of Los Angeles and many individual nonprofit and tech organizations. His storytelling has appeared on podcasts including I Love a Good Story, StoryWorthy, and TabooTales as well as The Moth. Michael's solo storytelling show, Ceremony​, has toured nationally and garnered recognition including LA Weekly Pick of the Week, Best of Fringe at the San Francisco Fringe Festival, and Outstanding Solo Performance at the San Diego Fringe Festival. Michael is a graduate of Rice University and Northwestern University. He is an ACC coach certified by the International Coach Federation, is a mentor with the Creative Visions Foundation, and serves on the Board of Directors of the Breath Center.
