MY MISSION: To craft stories that inform and inspire, educate and entertain. I am a bestselling and award-winning thriller, with more than 40 fiction and non-fiction books published worldwide. Much of my career has been in marketing and media, including a decade-spanning career as an award-winning copywriter. I’ve been contracted by some of the biggest brands on the planet, to help tell their story, and some of my video work was even aired for President Obama and his cabinet. To the writing and publishing community, I am known as the Voice of Indie Authors. As the host of the popular Wordslinger Podcast, and with appearances on hundreds of author-related podcasts, blogs, and shows, I’ve become a friendly and familiar presence among the author community, as well as with those entrepreneurs and business that serve indie authors. I travel to conferences and events worldwide, advocating for the empowerment of independent and will-be authors everywhere. My passion is for stories—and my novels have gained an incredible worldwide audience of readers who love my work, and actively seek to see me succeed. For the first season of my author career, I wrote science fiction and fantasy. Today, I am a successful thriller author, and my Dan Kotler thrillers have been bestsellers and award winners. My passion for storytelling is carried over into podcasting and media production. I use my television and radio background and experience to produce a weekly interview-format show that brings the behind-the-scenes story of hundreds of entrepreneurs and authors to more than 35,000 listeners each week.
