Judy Weintraub
Accomplished entrepreneur, Judy Weintraub, is also a business executive, attorney and bestselling author of The Essentials of Negotiating Effectively and the author of How to Build Successful Business Partnerships. She is the founder of SkillBites, providing book writing and publishing services to help authors get their books done quickly and conveniently. Her website is http://www.skillbites.net. Judy is an awardee of the Make Mine a Million $ Business Program, a national program that selects exceptional women business owners, and provides resources and support to help them achieve annual revenues of over $1 million.
Ms. Weintraub is past Chair of the ATHENAPowerLink Program for the Delaware Valley, a woman business owner mentoring program, and has been on the Governing Body of that program since its inception in 2006.
Ms. Weintraub received her JD Degree Cum Laude from the University of Michigan Law School in 1983 and her BA Degree Summa Cum Laude from Mount Holyoke College in 1980, with a double major in Philosophy and Mathematics. Following law school, she clerked for The Hon. W. Arthur Garrity, Jr. in the United States District Court for the District of Massachusetts, then worked for a law firm in Washington, DC, and then became in house counsel at Amtrak. After 10 years at Amtrak, Ms. Weintraub started her own law firm. In 2012, Ms. Weintraub founded the company SkillBites to make it easier for authors to get their books published.
Ms. Weintraub is admitted to practice law in DC, Maryland and Pennsylvania. She is a distinguished neutral for the International Institute of Conflict Prevention and Resolution (CPR), a mediator and arbitrator for the American Arbitration Association and a certified mediator with the International Mediation Institute.
