Hey there!! Davis Mutabwa, founder and host of the top ranking business podcast The Business Generals Podcast – I appreciate you stopping by. A little bit about me – Hard to give a quick career summary, because mine is diverse but here goes…I am a Financial Controller at heart, with over 15 years experience of very strong technical accounting skills including consolidated statutory and regulatory reporting, financial planning forecasting and analysis and taxation, with extensive exposure to both private and public sectors. Diverse in depth experience with global brands including 8 years in chartered with Deloitte and 5 years with GE Capital. Worked closely and fostered strong relationships with CFOs and Regional Financial Controllers as well as other C-Level executives and Boards.

The GFC had an interesting impact on my career back in 2009…experienced my first redundancy, you may have been in this boat yourself before or currently in it – take heart, it will pass!! It actually helped me reassess my priorities and evaluate my dreams – best thing ever in hindsight, it pushed me into starting my very first business – in real estate, awesome experience. Throughout my professional and business career I have enjoyed working with business stakeholders, being at the coal face of decision making be it in a Corporate Board room or at a Cafe with an upstart entrepreneur. I now help people find their dream and chase it! What are you passionate about? A great passion of mine has been speaking to people about Economic Freedom through Entrepreneurship and Business, for those who are in business or have a dream to be in business for themselves.
