Hi, I am D Grant Smith. I’m the host of the nationally syndicated indie program The Appetizer Radio Show and host of the DIY Artist Route Podcast. The syndicated radio program is an hour long exploration into great albums in folk, singer-songwriter, rock, alternative, and cross-over genres. It’s been 14 years running strong and won several awards.
The DIY Artist Route Podcast is a monthly conversation with creative entrepreneurs, business leaders, innovators and inspirational figures to talk about how they’ve become successful, insights into their stories, and how to overcome the challenges all of us face in our road to success.
Aside from media, my main passion is helping people cultivate strong, thriving relationships with their superfans and community. I created a method called Growth Farming For Success that is all about cultivating yourself to be the best at relationships. Relationships are where our success comes from personally and professionally. It’s relationship building that made me a syndicated radio host. I didn’t hire an expensive PR firm to do that work. I did it myself. I’ve articulated my method and process in my debut book The DIY Musician’s Radio Handbook. It’s essentially a step-by-step process for building connections with influencers in any field.
I help musicians and creative entrepreneurs build strong connections through teachings done via online courses, books, articles and one-on-one coaching.
