  • 222: Twelve Minute Convos w/ Colin Ngai

Colin Ngai-

Colin Ngai: Over the last 3 years, I’ve completely transformed my life. 3 years ago, I was 18 years old just graduated out of high school and fresh off my first break up. My first girlfriend had broken up with me for another guy. This heart break led me down the path of self-improvement where I discovered how I could improve my social skills and confidence. I remember spending hours daily talking to people and basically trying to pick up girls. Over time, I’ve achieved some success and gave me the confidence to take greater risks. At that time, I lived in Hawaii where I grew up all my life. In 2015, I left my hometown of Hawaii to Chicago to transfer schools. And then from that time, I continued on the path. I’ve later lost 40 lbs in 8 months and dropped 12 % body fat. In February of 2016, I was fired from my job. Frustrated and confused, I started my first website/blog. At first, I didn’t see much success. Later, I got 2 part time jobs working at Starbucks and a retail Jewelry store. For a few weeks, I even took a part time job as a Grocery Shopper to get some money to afford a living, while trying to start my entrepreneurial journey. Over the past 3 months, I’ve launched my fitness consulting business. I’ve helped a handful of clients with their transformation in losing weight, gaining their self-confidence and integrating it as a part of their lifestyle. I’ve also helped a few people launch their first service based consulting business.

This has led me to quit my 2 jobs and drop out of school at the age of 21 as a full-time entrepreneur. This is a dream I’ve wanted for awhile. I could recall just dreading class and school because of how unpractical it seemed to me.

Recently I’ve traveled to San Diego for Brendon Burchard’s Live Event. And tomorrow, I’ll be off to LA for another online entrepreneurial event and next week in NYC. The life of an entrepreneurial living a life of adventure, travel, impact and fulfilment is coming alive. I’ve recently started my own community called The Lean and Wealthy Community where I help entrepreneurs integrate fitness effortlessly into their lifestyle & create abundance in wealth. My goal is to have a huge impact on the world and I see this community as a medium to do that.
