About Carey Conley
For over 20 years, I built a successful business career that took me around the world. But tragedy struck, and everything changed. I lost my husband, Ross, in 2014, and just three years later, my son, Cole, at age 26—both to suicide...
…In the face of unimaginable loss, I had a choice: succumb to despair or find purpose. I chose purpose. While I had always enjoyed my work, I knew this next chapter had to be about making a larger impact—helping those who feel lost, without direction, or grieving a sudden loss.
Together with my daughter, Laurel, I poured my heart into our book, Keep Looking Up. This book shares our deeply personal journey of grief, healing, and rediscovering purpose, offering hope to those navigating loss.
Now, I dedicate my work to helping others define their life vision. While I continue to coach business owners on achieving clarity and direction, my primary mission has shifted to mental health advocacy.
Why Vision Matters
Vision gives hope—and hope saves lives.
Young people are struggling—many feel lost, uncertain, or without purpose.
Suicide prevention starts with purpose—and I believe vision work can make a difference.
Through coaching, workshops, my podcast, and Keep Looking Up, I guide individuals in creating a crystal-clear written vision for their lives—so they can take meaningful action every day.
