Amar Vyas-

Amar Vyas describes himself as a husband, nature lover, writer, and author of the Amol Dixit series of books. A self-described nomad, Amar has lived in fifteen cities over the past twenty years, including the two years he spent at the University of Illinois at Urbana Champaign as a graduate student. Two years after returning to India, he went to the Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad for his MBA. Presently he lives in Bengaluru (Bangalore) in India.

Amar donned the writer’s hat in 2008, when he started writing his journey in the form of an online diary at the Return to India Forum (www.r2iclub.com). He has been blogging since 2013, when he started chronicling his journey as an author on a wordpress blog. In his spare time, Amar likes exploring offbeat places, learning Gujarati from his wife, spending time with his dog, Buddy, and exploring- Bangalore.

Note: Amar Vyas is known as Amar Deshpande in real life, he uses the pen name for writing his fiction books. During his 13 year Corporate Career, Amar worked in Program Management, energy consulting and construction. In January 2016, he Co-Founded Kamakshi Media.
