  • Wendy Booker: Never Give Up on Your Dreams: A Journey of Resilience, Faith, and Triumph /Ep 3144

About Wendy Booker

Wendy launched MSInsight (formerly The Climb On Foundation) in early 2015. Her mission is to provide a clear pathway for newly diagnosed multiple sclerosis (MS) patients. A diagnosis of MS often comes with fear, misinformation, and isolation. Many patients are young and just beginning their adult lives...

…MSInsight helps connect patients with therapy options, neurologists, and MS centers. Most importantly, it fosters connections with others who share similar experiences. The organization guides patients through their first year, helping them live full and productive lives despite MS.

Global Impact and Advocacy

Since 2006, Wendy has partnered with the Donald McKay School in East Boston. Together, they raise funds and awareness for Sherpa children in Nepal who lost their fathers to mountain climbing. She also educates American students about Nepalese culture, geography, religion, and mountaineering.

Motivational Speaker and Author

As a motivational speaker, Wendy inspires audiences worldwide. She shares her journey of determination, transformation, and triumph. She delivers keynote addresses, emcees events, and leads presentations for organizations of all sizes.

Speaking Engagements

Her recent speaking engagements include:

  • American Heart Association
  • Harvard Business School
  • Boston College Students with Disabilities Council

Author of New Altitude

In addition to her advocacy and speaking career, Wendy published her first book, New Altitude, in 2013. The book details her journey through adversity and her climb to the top of the world.

In Wendy’s words, “We often have to try a little harder, take a little longer and dig a little deeper to reach our goals but we can do it.  We all have “our mountain” our mountain is MS, now what are we going to do about it? I challenge those with MS, or any challenge in their lives, to go out and find that special thing, that activity, that passion that will take them away from their MS, if only for a while, and from that they will see that anything is possible.”
