Dr. Newman’s hands-on experience includes developing sports marketing campaigns for Towson University and multiple private businesses. He has worked directly with athletes at every level—from high school and collegiate athletes to Olympians and professional competitors.

He has played a key role in launching and growing youth sports programs, and serves on numerous sports boards and academic committees, contributing to the advancement of the field.

Leader in Amateur Golf & Podcasting

A lifelong competitor and passionate golfer, Dr. Newman is a Tour Director with the Golfweek Amateur Tour, organizing amateur golf tournaments in more than six U.S. markets. He is also the host of two podcasts:
