  • Talia Cohen: Finding Your Feet in South Korea: A Journey of Yoga, Massage, and Cultural Immersion /Ep 3495

About Talia Cohen

Yoga practitioner and Massage therapist at Ayurveda Yoga Academy

Why did you go to Korea for yoga?

Usually people are surprised when I say that I came to Korea to practice yoga. But why not India? Or maybe Bali? Thailand?...

…I was 28 years old, had studied 6 various degrees and certificates, travelled to over 40 countries, had 6 different jobs lasting less than a year, and was hanging around a beautiful villa in Italy with visa about to expire. More than that, however grand life was going, I was soon discontent and out of sorts, and it drove me crazy trying to find a reason for it. So, with the recommendation of a newfound friend, I came for The Healing Alchemy course at ‘Ayurveda Yoga Academy’ in Daegu.

For me, one of the greatest changes has been my relationship with my mom. Another was that the back pain I had had every day since age 12, has become an occasional occurrence, and that it is connected more to my mind than to having Scoliosis.

What has impressed upon me the most are my teachers. They show us new ways to view our issues and lives, how to step out of our minds and live with happiness as our standard.

Ayurveda Yoga Academy has transformed my life! I have become a teacher here to deepen my understanding and widen my gaze. Now I want to share what I have learned from my teachers, and grow together.

Come connect with us!
