About Sheree Brown

Sheree Brown is more than a musical artist—she is a cultural icon and creative visionary whose music and projects uplift, educate, and inspire audiences of all ages and backgrounds. As a singer, songwriter, producer, educator, and musician,...

Sheree first gained national recognition as a rhythm and blues/pop recording artist with Capitol Records in the early 1980s. Her albums, Straight Ahead and The Music, digitally remastered and re-released, continue to stand as timeless examples of soul-infused storytelling blended with jazz and R&B rhythms.

“I would file Sheree’s work alongside the likes of Bill Withers or Carole King.” – Toby Walker, SoulWalking

Musical Legacy and Global Reach

Sheree’s artistry has taken her around the world with international performances in Germany, Egypt, Israel, and Italy. Beyond her studio recordings, her music continues to serve as a platform for cross-cultural dialogue, empowerment, and connection.

These works are part of a broader peace education campaign reaching schools and communities nationwide.

Her literary and musical concept project, Messages From The Heart, fuses storytelling with inspirational soundscapes. Her latest single, I Choose Love, co-written with Patrice Rushen, previews the anticipated Messages From The Spirit…The Collective, continuing her legacy of healing and transformation through music.
