  • Sandra Cooper: Trauma to Triumph: Lessons Learned on the Path to Healing and Fulfillment /Ep 3979

About Sandra Cooper

Sandra Cooper, RN, LPCMH, is a licensed psychotherapist and registered nurse based in Newark, Delaware, with over two decades of experience in mental health and patient care. Raised in a traditional Catholic household during the transformative decades of the 1960s and 70s, Sandra’s early life shaped her understanding of emotional resilience and personal identity...

…After earning a bachelor’s degree in public health, Sandra returned to school to pursue a nursing degree, launching a diverse career as an RN. Her journey ultimately led to hospice care, a deeply moving and transformational chapter that inspired her to pursue a master’s degree in counseling.

Today, Sandra runs a thriving private psychotherapy practice and is the author of Trauma to Triumph: Lessons Learned Along the Way. Her book offers personal insights on overcoming trauma, breaking free from limiting beliefs, and finding true belonging. Sandra helps individuals navigate the path from rejection and pain to love and acceptance, drawing from both professional training and lived experience.

Sandra Cooper is passionate about guiding others toward healing, purpose, and emotional freedom. Her story is a reminder that the journey to a better life is possible—and that each of us can find hope and healing in our own narrative.
