Robert is the founder of two transformational training companies—Lifespring and ARC International—which collectively graduated more than 1.3 million leaders from high-impact, experiential learning seminars across the globe. His international leadership journey includes over 23 years living and working in Japan, Hong Kong, and Mainland China, where he directly impacted tens of thousands of aspiring leaders.
Author, Publisher, and Global Influencer
Robert authored the acclaimed book Living an Extraordinary Life, available in English, Simplified Chinese, and Traditional Chinese. The book has earned praise from industry icons including Ken Blanchard and Tom Crum. He also contributed essays to the award-winning photo journal One World One People and received AudioFile Magazine’s prestigious Earphones Award for his audio program, Achieving Extraordinary Success, published by Nightingale Conant.
As founder of Woodlands Press, Robert published nine award-winning coffee table books featuring iconic U.S. National Parks such as Yellowstone, Olympic, Mount Rainier, and The Grand Tetons.
Leadership Beyond Business
Robert is a Baden Powell Fellow with the World Scout Foundation and a board member of Plant It 2020. A passionate advocate for child welfare, he supports the Kempe Center for the Prevention and Treatment of Child Abuse and Neglect and The Adoption Exchange, inspired by his personal experience as an adoptive parent of two special needs children.
