Quentin Floyd, known simply as Floyd, or “Floyd the DJ” in entertainment circles, is a proud US veteran with ventures encompassing numerous field from entertainment, sports nutrition, to e-commerce. Born and raised in Mississippi, to moving around to many different geographies across the world due to his active service in the US Air Force, Floyd has now called our nation’s capital, Washington, DC, home for over the past 10 years.
Floyd got his start in entertainment as a radio DJ at just 17 and has been in the game for over 20 years. His body of work includes international performances, working with A-list musicians and celebrities, partnering up for events with Professional Sports teams, Radio Stations, Fortune 500 companies, charities, and more. He marks a charity event for the Fisher House organization as one of his most memorable where volunteers throughout the night worked together to raise over $100,000 in just under 8 hours. With a true heart for helping those who are less fortunate, Floyd has also partnered with tons of professional organizations and celebrities to raise money in support of kids and their families in need. He is by far one of the best DJs/Master of Ceremonies not only in the nation’s capital but the entire US.
While in active service, Floyd had the honor of being a part of the security team that protected the United States and its Presidents. In his professional career, he was also part of the DoD’s CITF & selected to be the personal bodyguard for the president of a leading global security company.
In the mid-2000’s, Floyd began to game plan life after the military, while he and his wife were also facings some major life challenges. It was at that point they met Scott DeVore and decided to become entrepreneurs. They became successful with hard work and dedication, allowing them to become debt free in there 20’s. Floyd credits his success to his daily association with other businessmen and women who were more successful than he was combined with their willingness to share their knowledge and experience with him. Over the past 10 years, Floyd’s entrepreneurial footprint has grown, where he provides security, leadership, and business training for numerous schools, professional organizations, youth organizations, fundraising events and charities.
