Her biblical novel, IF I PERISH: A Queen’s Sacrifice, reached multiple Amazon best-seller charts and was nominated for the Pulitzer Prize. It also became a Finalist in the 2025 Storytrade Book Award for Christian Historical Fiction.
Additionally, her second biblical novel, THE CARPENTER AND HIS BRIDE: The Birth of Hope, achieved best-seller status and won the Bronze Medal from the Inscriptions Christian Book Awards.

Collaborations and Creative Works

In collaboration with New York Times best-selling author G.P. Taylor, Paula co-authored YHWH: The Flood, the Fish & the Giant and YESHUA: The King, The Demon & The Traitor. She also co-wrote Shameless Self-Promotion with Mike Parker and Torry Martin. Furthermore, her devotional Illuminations features the stunning artwork of international artist Tracy H. Sugg, while her children’s picture book, Slow Love, illustrated by Breanna King Butterworth, celebrates patience, kindness, and empathy.

As an accomplished playwright, Paula is celebrated for her stage adaptations of Jane Austen’s Pride & Prejudice, Sense & Sensibility, and Emma. These beloved plays have been performed in theaters throughout the United States and internationally, continuing to captivate audiences with wit, warmth, and classic charm.

A Passion for Writing and Mentorship

As a freelance writer, Paula’s work has appeared in Focus on the Family’s Citizen, Christian Single, Christian Health, HomeLife, Disney’s Family Fun, and many other respected publications.
She has also written for Crosswalk.com, LifeWay.com, and BuddyHollywood.com. From 2013 to 2024, she contributed curriculum for WinShape Camp for Girls, enriching the lives of young readers through faith-based learning.

In addition, Paula serves as the Admin and Owner of The Writers’ View, a thriving online community that supports writers worldwide. She is also a member of the American Christian Fiction Writers and continues to mentor aspiring authors, guiding them to write with authenticity, excellence, and purpose.

Life, Family, and Faith

Paula lives near Nashville, Tennessee, with her actor and author husband, Mike Parker. When she isn’t writing, she enjoys spending time with their five grown children, three sons-in-law, and eight grandchildren. She also loves being active in their church, restoring their vintage home, gardening, learning Italian, and playing the harp.
