Meryl Klemow is a freelance podcaster, writer and animal kisser! Hailing from Scranton, PA (yes…that place The Office is based in), she graduated from the S.I. Newhouse School of Communications at Syracuse University and quickly fled to Southern California.
Meryl worked for many years at the world-renowned music venue the Belly Up in Solana Beach and there podcasted with major musical legends such as Mick Fleetwood, Robert Cray, Jimmy Buffett and CeeLo Greene. She now transitioned into a freelance and remote working role as that is where she believes the future of work is going and enjoys her time as a copywriter for Podfly, and co-host and co-producer of her comedy podcast, Campfire Shit Show along with local comedy writer and promoter Beau Hufford.
Meryl is an avid animal lover and is not shy to talk about some of her crazy up-close animal experiences! From taking a shot of tequila with Prince Harry to landing in the San Diego Zoo newsletter while petting a rhino, Meryl certainly has some tales to tell!
