About Lynn Bromley

Lynn Bromley is a bold voice on gender politics, social innovation, and women’s empowerment. A seasoned leader with a dynamic career journey, Lynn has worn many hats—waitress, teacher, truck driver, corporate manager, social worker, and public servant. Her varied background fuels her passion for navigating change, leadership, and courage...

…In 2000, Lynn was elected to the Maine State Senate, where she served four terms, rising to leadership roles and advocating for social and economic justice. Her public service continued when she was appointed by the Obama Administration as the Small Business Advocate for the six New England states, where she worked to strengthen entrepreneurship and economic opportunity.

Lynn is the founder and principal of Fintech Advocate, a consulting firm focused on supporting innovation in the financial technology sector. She is also the best-selling author of “The Path to Justice: The Dangerous Myth of Empowerment for Women,” a thought-provoking book that challenges mainstream narratives and inspires courageous conversations.

Today, Lynn’s current iteration is as a speaker, thought leader, and global citizen. With a home base in South Portland, Maine, close to her two children and a supportive circle of sisters, she splits time visiting her kjæresten hennes (dearest) in Oslo, Norway.

Whether advocating for innovators, challenging norms, or mentoring the next generation of women leaders, Lynn Bromley brings authenticity, experience, and a refreshing perspective to every room she enters.
