  • 1193: Luke Stapely says that his passion for video games is what drives him

Luke Stapely-

First, I want to thank you for taking your time to check me out. My passion for video games is what drives me. The Chinese game industry is becoming the fastest growing and largest entertainment sector in the world. Many are now looking to expand business to China as China starts to look towards the west for more revenue. Many western companies have tried to enter China and fail to understand their users, the rules, and the industry’s philosophy. Many people just don’t know who to talk to and what to sell in China. I’ve been lucky enough to meet some of the best in the industry and am ready to help you in your needs. If you have questions or in need of experience, I’m here to help. Message me anytime or add me as a connection. My reason to be on Linkedin is to show you what is happening in the East with great articles and insight to China and beyond. In my past life I was games retail salesman, I was a programmer, a functional game tester, a regular game tester, customer service at Nintendo and Microsoft, community manager, a podcaster, and a video game journalist. Becoming a “Jack of all Trades” has given me a lot of understanding of how the industry works from every facet. I also have an interest in Japanese and Chinese culture and lived in China for over 5 years. I’ve worked at 3 different game companies in China as well as taught MBA classes at a prestigious Chinese University. Thanks for reading this far down. Let’s talk and see what I can do for you and how we can both achieve great things. Specialties: QA Testing, Podcasting, Journalism, customer service, community building, marketing, PR, social networking, Asian studies Luke Listen to another #12minconvo
