John Ashworth-

John Ashworth, Co-Founder, President and Creative Director of Linksoul, LLC and also President of Goat Hill Park, LLC: John co-founded Ashworth, Inc. in 1987, for which he served as Executive Vice President and Creative Director from 1987 until 1997. John Ashworth radically changed the look of golfers to a sense of style that was comfortable on or off the golf course, which revolutionized the soft goods business in golf merchandising. The Ashworth™ brand was recognized as the leading golf brand in the world for ten consecutive years from 1985 to 1995 according to the Darrel survey. Under his leadership, Ashworth became the leading golf apparel company in the world.

John Ashworth was voted Designer of the Year in 1990 by the Association of Golf Merchandisers and Business Person of the Year by the International Network of Golf in 1995. In 2001, John Ashworth created and launched the Fidra brand for the surf culture company Quiksilver. The Fidra brand was acquired by a Japanese company in 2005 and remains a lifestyle brand in the Japanese market. John worked independently on incubating the Linksoul brand concept for several years before its formal launch in 2011. In 2014 John lead a group to save an historical landmark public golf course and green space from development and has transformed this neglected site into a community treasure complete with a non profit organization that serve the youth of the area.
