With over 20 years of experience in human resource management, Charlene Pedro is a dynamic force in the world of employee engagement, leadership development, and performance coaching. Based in Trinidad and Tobago, Charlene is the Founder and Chief Engagement Officer of Conventus Consultinc, a trusted human resource consultancy delivering customized leadership programs, employee training, and performance improvement systems...

…Charlene wears many hats—she is a Leadership Development Facilitator, HR Consultant, Coach, International Speaker, Mentor, Radio Host, and Author. She partners with CEOs and managers across local, regional, and international organizations to solve people and performance challenges through a people-first approach.

A passionate advocate for human potential, Charlene is committed to helping individuals grow and thrive. Her signature programs focus on talent management, employee engagement, and building high-performing teams.

Charlene is a former President of the Association of Female Executives of Trinidad and Tobago (AFETT) and a former Director at the Employers’ Consultative Association of Trinidad and Tobago. She also moderated the Trinidad and Tobago delegation at the 62nd session of the United Nations Commission on the Status of Women in New York.

Currently, she serves on the Board of Habitat for Humanity Trinidad and Tobago and contributes to the Public Relations Committee of the Human Resource Management Association of Trinidad and Tobago (HRMATT). She is also the host of HRMATT Speaks, a radio show focused on relevant HR topics.

Charlene’s thought leadership has been featured in newspapers, radio, and television. Her articles on women in leadership have been published in the Business Guardian. In 2023, she received the Woman of Influence Award from AFETT, and in 2024, she was named Volunteer of the Year by HRMATT.
