Catherine Ewing
Catherine Ewing, founder of Sacred Heart Alchemy, is a spiritually focused Transformational Life Coach, Spiritual Mentor, EFT Practitioner, Minister of Spiritual Peacemaking , Certified Dream Coach, Passion Test Facilitator, psychotherapist, and energy healing practitioner. Catherine has spent the last 25 years studying the mind/body/spirit connection. Her passion is to assist others to recognize themselves as spiritual beings and learn to use spiritual practices to heal emotional wounds and their physical manifestations, release limiting beliefs, master their psychology, and move into lives of greater joy, authenticity and purpose. Her greatest joy is supporting clients and students to transform their deepest wounds into their greatest gifts.
Catherine holds Master’s Degrees in Social Work and Divinity. She is a Certified Dream Coach®, Passion Test Facilitator®, psychotherapist, Ordained Minister of Spiritual Peacemaking, Reiki Master Teacher and practitioner of many energy healing modalities, including Emotional Freedom Technique, Theta Healing and DNA Activation.
She teaches Alternative Modalities in Psychotherapy to Licensed Social Workers in the UConn School of Social Work and classes in Mind/Body/Spirit at several Community Colleges in CT.
Since January, 2013 Catherine has worked with the creators of Tapping for Newtown, to provide emotional and psychological support to the families, first responders and community impacted by the Sandy Hook School tragedy.
Catherine’s unique combination of professional training, life experience, personality and passion helps to move clients to new levels of self-awareness, personal development and inner peace. As a life-long learner and spiritual seeker, she brings her depth of knowledge and experience as a therapist, spiritual peacemaker, energy healer and transformational coach and speaker to each person she works with.
For over 30 years Catherine has been a passionate advocate for justice, equality and the empowerment of women and children. She has worked in the areas of sexual assault, domestic violence, child abuse, community organization and school social work, both in direct service and as a trainer. She served as Coordinator of the Governor’s Task Force on Justice for Abused Children, bringing together major players in the state to create systems and programs to address the needs of our most vulnerable children.
In addition to her professional work, Catherine is an expert in mid-life reinvention for women.
In 2005 she left her paid employment to open a holistic healing center. In 2007 she made the difficult decision to leave a 30 year marriage, her teenage children and her comfortable home in the suburbs to start life over in a basement apartment. She has employed all of her skills, knowledge, experience and faith to build a new life of passion, purpose and prosperity!
