Dr. Bijoy E. John is a board-certified physician and experienced sleep specialist with over 25 years of clinical expertise in Pulmonary, Critical Care, and Sleep Medicine. Based in Nashville, Tennessee, he provides comprehensive care for both children and adults struggling with a wide range of sleep disorders...
…Dr. John is the founder and medical director of Sleep Wellness Clinics of America, offering in-person and virtual consultations, advanced diagnostic testing, home sleep studies, and personalized treatment plans. He also created Sleep Fix Academy, an online education platform that delivers expert-led courses, podcasts, and tools designed to improve sleep quality for individuals worldwide.
He serves as an Affiliate Assistant Professor at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center College of Medicine and is an active member of the American Academy of Sleep Medicine, American Academy of Chest Physicians, and American Medical Association.
Recognized for clinical excellence, Dr. John was named one of Nashville’s Top 100 Physicians in 2022 by My Nashville magazine. He received the Top Sleep Specialist award from Nashville Lifestyle magazine every year from 2015–2020 and was recently honored in Marquis Who’s Who as a Top Sleep Physician for 2023–24.
Outside of his professional work, Dr. John has been happily married to his wife Dotty for 30 years and is the proud father of two adult children. In his free time, he enjoys maintaining a coral reef aquarium, playing ping pong, tennis, golf, and traveling.
