  • 337: Twelve Minute Convos w/ Ayesha Hilton

Ayesha Hilton-

Ayesha Hilton has had an interesting personal and professional life. She was raised a Buddhist and lived in northern India for a couple of years as a child. After university, she lived in Thailand for two years working first with Thai sex workers and then with Burmese refugees. During her career, she has also worked in community development, communications, IT, and coaching.

For the past decade she has worked for herself while raising her two children. She lives in a regional town in Victoria, Australia. Her husband, Nick Shady, is a third generation farmer. This year, Ayesha and Nick published a book called Who Gets the Farm? They wrote this book after witnessing the struggles many farming families experience through poor succession planning. Their book has led to public discussions on succession planning in traditional media and on social media.

Never one to sit still, Ayesha then created and published colouring books and journals. She is working on her next book which is for those who have lost a loved one to suicide. She has also been a contributing author to multiple Amazon best-selling anthologies.

Ayesha is currently leading a team of coaches around the world as part of a new project that is working with military veterans with PTSD. The coaching intervention uses neurokinesis, which involves rewiring the brain, and it reliably reduces the symptoms of PTSD.
