The Power of Conversations
from Trinidad to the world
The Story of How it started
There are three types of powerful conversations that have transformed my life.
- Conversations with God
- Conversations with myself
- Conversations with my wife
Conversations with God
How could I let this happen? What did I do to deserve this?
These were the questions I asked of God, silently in my mind as I laid on the living room floor with our 3 year old son who was clueless to his Father's despair. I had given up. I felt hopeless.
What was it all worth?
Tell me please, what do you think are the chances of what happened next?
I heard those words spoken from the tv.
Look to our precious Jesus today who saves, heals, delivers, prospers and blesses.
This is your day for a miracle.
AMAZED, I reached for the tv remote and turned the volume up while sitting up. Benny Hinn introduced Rabbi Daniel Lapin, author of the book Thou Shall Prosper - Ten Commandments for Making Money, as his guest.
For the rest of these two men's conversation I was in a trance. By the end of the day I purchased the Kindle version of the book.
My conversation with God on that day restored Hope.
Proverb 13:12
New King James Version
Hope deferred makes the heart sick, But when the desire comes, it is a tree of life.

Conversations with Myself
Reading Thou Shall Prosper highlighted that you could create success and wealth in business by looking to the ancient teachings and wisdom of Judaism. Daniel wrote that "Owing less money is exactly the same as having more money and is a necessary precondition for building wealth."
I followed his recommendation and read The Total Money Makeover written by Dave Ramsey. I was inspired to follow his Seven Baby Steps to getting out of debt and building wealth. The important conversations with myself to change my perception occurred through:
- Meditation
- Affirmations
- Journaling
- Reading
Proverbs 4:23 NKJV
New King James Version
Keep your heart with all diligence,
For out of it spring the issues of life.
Conversations with my wife
Looking over time from then to now I am grateful for the blessing of Amanda, my wife. It takes two to tango. The new steps we took helped us achieve a balanced connection to our personal and business life. Conversations with her, have taught me the value of:
- Bulding Trust
- Understanding Personalities
- A woman's instinct
Proverbs 31:26
New King James Version
She speaks with wisdom,
and faithful instruction is on her tongue.
